Disassembly of medical equipment album design case: dummy film process and data visualization

Matte film process of coated paper

The cover is made of 250g coated paper covered with matte film, which is warm to the touch and prevents fingerprint retention. This process is common in high-end medical device instructions and can intuitively convey the brand impression of "precision and reliability". 157g coated paper is used on the inner page to ensure that the high-definition equipment structure diagram does not leak ink-for example, the macro photo of the centrifugal pump impeller, and even the details of the 0.1 mm fluid tank are clearly visible, which is crucial for doctors to understand product performance.

Medical equipment album design

Faced with complex technologies such as ECMO, picture albums transform obscure parameters into visual language. For example, the "velocity cloud map" is used to show hemodynamics. The red gradient area represents the high shear risk area, and the blue color represents the safe flow rate, allowing clinical personnel to quickly identify the advantages of the equipment. The technical parameter page adopts a mixture of tables and icons, and key data such as "24mL low pre-charge" are highlighted in orange, which is 60% more efficient than plain text descriptions.

ECMO Technology Printing Case

Considering the cleanliness requirements of the hospital environment, the album is printed with solvent-free soybean ink to avoid chemical odors interfering with sensitive areas such as ICU. Saddle binding ensures that the content of 8 pages is completely spread evenly, which is convenient for many people to consult at the same time. This design can reduce the time-consuming page turning and improve the efficiency of information acquisition.

Data visualization typesetting

ThisMedical equipment album designThe case adopts a minimalist style, the main colors are technological blue and medical white, and warning orange highlights key data. The layout adopts a "modular grid system", which presents equipment parameters, application scenarios, and technical principles in partitions, and controls the information density at 34 visual focuses per page. In terms of printing, the combination of matte film cover and coated paper inner pages not only ensures professionalism but also controls costs-the special size of 140x210cm just fits the standardized space of hospital data shelves, reflecting the pragmatic thinking of "reverse design from usage scenarios".
