1. Selection of Paper
   Cover Paper: 200 grams of coated paper, the thickness of 200 grams, has better printing effect.
   Inner Paper: 157 grams or 180 grams of coated paper, thickness of 157 grams or 180 grams. If there are many text, full plate is required. 157 grams is sufficient. If there are pictures or text around, 180 grams is required.
   Brochure Size: Normal size is : 210×285mm ; Finished size = Brochure size - 2 x cutting margin (4 mm).
   Choose different covers (monochrome or quad) and inner pages (monochrome or quad) depending on the use. Generally, brochures are designed in monochrome, and four colors are only used in special situations.

2. Print Color
   Four-color printing: CMYK is cyan, magenta, yellow and black.
   Spot Color Printing: It refers to the use of pre-mixed single color for printing, which is flexible and suitable for printing high-quality and high-grade products.
   Monochrome printing: It refers to printing with only one hue of ink. Four-color printing is often used in brochure printing, but it does not exclude the use of spot-color printing to enhance the grade of the printed matter. When necessary, you can use spot color printing to improve the quality of the print. But the four colors are still mainstream.

3. Layout of brochure design
   Processing of text and images: Words and pictures complement each other in the brochure. Pictures determine the print grade, text determines the print content. The combination of pictures and text should be concise, clear, and beautiful.
   Text arrangement and design: Font selection, font size selection, word spacing adjustment, paragraph allocation, etc.
   Processing of images: Picture selection, picture definition, picture placement, picture and text matching.
   Post-press binding: Horse binding, flat binding, wireless binding, locking binding, paper binding, and so on.

4. Quality of brochures
   Color reproduction: Four-color printing color reproduction is better, spot-color printing is also close to four-color. Monochrome printing (unless a high-quality professional press is selected) generally has the problem of over-saturation of color. The degree of oversaturation depends on the quality of the ink and the quality requirements of the print. Four-color printing is the most common method if you want to print high-quality, high-grade products. Spot color printing requires the choice of high quality inks. Monochrome printing should also ensure the quality of ink and use high quality printing equipment.
   Transparency issues: Make sure the ink passes through the paper. Usually the inner paper is soft and easy to pass through, the cover of the coated paper is not easy to pass through, in the ink to slightly thicker than the inner page. In addition in the field color also want to consider the ink so as not to show white after cutting. If the UV process is used, the cover does not need to leave ink.
   Issues on the ground: For theBrochureFor example, it is often necessary to use the field (solid color) or the near field (monochromatic color). Different field selections will result in different costs. In four-color printing, the CMYK 4% field color cost is the highest, and the color is often unsaturated. Selecting 20% of the field colors is less expensive and the color is more saturated. Selecting 50% of the field colors is the lowest cost, but the colors are also unsaturated. This problem can be avoided if spot color printing is used.
